Many of you have likely seen the video clip now circulating widely; if you missed it, here is the abbreviated context.

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, a group of roughly 30–40 “activists” entered Cities Church (a Southern Baptist congregation) during the morning worship service in St. Paul, Minnesota. They chanted, shouted, and employed noisemakers until the service was forced to end. Church leaders and witnesses have described the scene as distressing to families, including children who were frightened and shaken by what took place. As we digest this video let us begin where sober minds should always begin: Americans have the absolute right to assemble and protest peacefully. But that right does not include the right to invade another man’s house, nor to commandeer his assembly. You may protest on the street or any other public place; you may petition; you may speak; you may persuade. You do not possess any right, moral or legal, to cross the threshold of another’s home and stage your demonstration in his living room. When you do so, you are no longer merely protesting; you are trespassing and exposing yourself to criminal charges. The same is true of a church, God’s house. A worship service is not a public forum to be conscripted for one’s own political theater. Download Full Article Below:
